Hydro Fitting Technology: a Part of the ULA’s Vulcan Centaur Rocket

The Hydro Fitting team is proud to be part of the Vulcan Centaur, a two-stage-to-orbit, heavy-lift launch vehicle that United Launch Alliance (ULA) has been developing since 2014. Hydro Fitting’s highly engineered charging valves are utilized inside of the rocket hydraulic systems to control the pressure of the accumulators. These valves are qualified for human space flight and will protect the structure, astronauts, and payloads that will fly on the Vulcan Centaur rocket.

The Vulcan Centaur was principally designed to meet launch demands of the U.S. government’s National Security Space Launch (NSSL) program for use by the United States Space Force and U.S. Intelligence Agencies for national security satellite launches. The first flight is planned for June 2023.

As a significant supplier of hardware products to the Defense and Space industry in the US and internationally, Hydro Fitting stands as a proud contributor to past and present, and future space programs!
